These lovely girls were chosen from the cream of St Helens young ladies to become
Carnival queen and and princesses for 2009.
The St Helens carnival float was built and is now maintained on the Farm by
Margaret and Brian Cope.

St. Helens Carnival Float 2009
The Carnival Season has now come to a close for 2009. We had a very successful season, only getting wet twice !! Although for most of the Carnivals, we were judged with the Towns, we were awarded 2 First Cups, 3 Third cups and a Highly Commended, which we were very pleased with.
Our Carnival Queen, Dixie Mitchell, her Princesses Bonnie Mitchell and Courteney Gaskin, and reserves Ella Frampton and Maisie Beere were wonderful, putting up with cold winds, and hanging around for the Judging which always seems to take forever. They never complained once, and they were a credit to St. Helens, and of course without them we would not have had a Carnival Queen Float.
Also, our thanks go to Julie and Clive Preston for allowing us to keep the Float at Fakenham Farm. To R.G.M. Scaffolding and Julie Toogood for allowing us to use their vehicles for towing the Float.
We will mow start planning our Carnival Queen Float for 2010, and hope that we have a good Carnival Season with warmer weather !!
